Community Compass is a service of OITM. GLBT organizations from around the state are invited to provide brief — 200 words or less — descriptions of recent or upcoming activities and events. Send your submissions to us by email by the 15th of the month.

Mountain Pride Media

Mountain Pride Media would like to welcome our newest committee members. Dan Greller of Burlington has joined our Fundraising Committee. Andy Wentink of Cornwall has joined our Publishing Committee. We are always looking for community members who would like to put their skills, time and energy to work for a local non-profit. Please contact us at mpm@mountainpridemedia.org if you’d like to learn more about serving on one of our committees.
Each month, Mountain Pride Media acknowledges the individuals who help get Out In The Mountains out into the community. This month we send out our thanks to David, Michael, Stephen, Judy, Julie, James, Roland, Larry, Dan, Euan, Alverta, Alan, Matthew, Federico, Elizabeth, Aldora, Bennett, Esther, Denny, and Daryl who came to the October “Stuffing“ Night. The December “Stuffing“ will be on Thursday, December 27th starting at 5:30 p.m. at our offices above The Daily Bread in Richmond, Vermont. Please feel free to stop by and say hello and help out. Thanks also to Cindy who was at our September “Stuffing“ night and who we missed thanking last month.
Mountain Pride Media would like to thank all our grantors, donors, advertisers, volunteers, writers and columnists, photographers, distribution volunteers, stuffing night volunteers, and event hosts who supported us in 2001. Our celebration of the 15th anniversary of the publication of Out In The Mountains was a wonderful success thanks to all of you.
We wish you a safe and peaceful holiday!
