Send your submissions to us by email by the 15th of the month. Mountain Pride Media Mountain Pride Media is excited to welcome James Garris of Richmond, Vermont, to the Board of Directors. We would also like to thank Esther Rothblum for all her work for Mountain Pride Media. Esther is retiring from the Board this month. The Board and Staff of Mountain Pride Media are excited to welcome the new editor of Out in the Mountains - Euan Bear. Euan has been an active MPM Board member and will be leaving the Board to take on this new role in our organization. Please help us in giving her a warm welcome. Each month, Mountain Pride Media acknowledges the individuals who help get Out in the Mountains out into the community. The snow this month made things interesting but we had several people who braved the weather and made it to Richmond. Thanks to Judy (the one-wiper-blade wonder), Dan, Dustin, Euan, Aldora, Marsha, Roland, Elizabeth, Stephen, and James. Also an extra special thank you to Elizabeth (the birthday girl) for making cupcakes, Roland for bringing chocolate chip cookies, and James, Don & Chicky for taking packages to the Post Office on Friday morning. The March Stuffing will be on Thursday, March 28th starting at 5:30 p.m. at our offices above The Daily Bread in Richmond, Vermont. Please feel free to stop by, say hello and help out. Samara Foundation Samara is excited to welcome Jayne Sheridan and Dr. Gregory Sharrow to the Board of Directors. Jayne is the Director of CyberSkills Vermont, a nonprofit organization located in the Old North End of Burlington, and lives in Richmond. Greg is the Director of Education for the Vermont Folklife Center in Middlebury, and lives in Pittsford with his partner Bob Hooker. Samaras board continues its commitment to maintain gender parity and to expand its board geographically throughout the state. Samara would like to thank Suzi Wizowaty of Burlington for her intelligence, integrity and hard work over the past 2 years. Suzi retired as Board Secretary in December.
