One Day Ride Against AIDS
Pompanoosuc Mills is sponsoring the 2nd
Annual RIDE AGAINST HIV/AIDS for the benefit of ACORN. This year's event
will take place on Sunday, September 12, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. at Pompanoosuc
Mills on Route 5 in East Thetford. Our desire is to have as many participants
as possible as last year's turnout was disappointing. There will be a
minimum fund raising amount of $50.00 or the $50.00 can be donated at
the time of registering. There will be prizes and a BIG COOKOUT on the
grounds of Pompanoosuc Mills when it's over. There will be at least 2
and possibly 3 different distances one can ride. A participant will be
able to register on the morning of the ride!! For more information, people
can call ACORN at 603-448-8887 or Pompanoosuc Mills at 802-785-4851 ext

OITM Thanks Rob & Yves!
Out in the Mountains would like
to extend a warm thanks to Rob Larabee and Yves Morrissette for 6 years
of dedicated service, volunteering through sleet and rain and snow and
storm to deliver Out in the Mountains in the Saint Jonhsbury / Lyndonville
area.
We welcome Rick Wold, a long-standing volunteer
at Out in the Mountains, who will pick up the Saint Johnsbury
route from the dynamic duo.
In addition we would like to extend our
thanks to the following volunteers who assisted with stuffing for the
July issue: Bob Bolyard, Lynn McNicol, Yelena, Sergio Corrales, Tatiana,
and Bob Wolff. The paper depends upon the continuing support these and
all of our volunteers. Thank you very much!
