Out for Good Is:

Out for Good is a program of the Gay & Lesbian Fund of Vermont (www.glfundvt.org) that coordinates the valuable time that LGBTQIA Vermonters donate to the causes they support.
Just as the Fund works to make our monetary contributions count twice, so Out for Good does with our volunteer time and efforts. By donating our time together, we show that members of our community care about many of the same causes as our neighbors. Further, it makes others aware of how much work we do to foster improvements in all our lives. we can all have fun together while making the world at large aware of the positive difference we make. when the time we give is organized through Out for Good, specific attention is drawn to the value of LGBTQIA people in our society.

Brokeback Mountain, Vt?

www.brokebackmountainvermont.com website volunteer Tom Eagan writes:
“I became familiar with the website several weeks after BBM did not receive the Oscar for Best Picture. The creator of the website’s name is John Kwiatowski, a resident of Burlington.
John also is a huge Brokeback fan and wants to honor a movie that touched many people. I believe it was a groundbreaking movie and we should not forget about it. It would be wonderful for a mountain in Vermont to be named in its honor. It would be place I would love to visit someday.”
