us in celebrating 21 years of accomplishment

We invite you to celebrate all that
has been accomplished by joining us for an open house. Many dedicated
people have given enormous pieces of their lives to this paper so that
all of us could be informed, so that we could help make change. Our state
is a far better place because of them. Please celebrate what they have
given to us and to everyone who has yet to arrive in Vermont.
Your support is still crucial -- and tax-deductible
Your donation could help ensure that we are able to settle all outstanding
accounts, end the paper's operations cleanly, and provide for the preservation
of our hard-copy archives and keep our online archives and other electronic
assets accessible to all.

Are you a subscriber?
As a subscriber, you may still have many months of your OITM subscription
remaining.
If you would like to make the remainder
of your subscription a tax-deductible donation, you need do nothing now.
After the end of the year, we'll consider the remaining balance a donation
and send you an acknowledgement for tax purposes. Contributing your remaining
balance will help make sure we can cover the costs of closing and preserve
our archives.
If you would like us to refund the
balance of your subscription, we need to hear from you before
December 31 at contact@mountainpridemedia.org. (You can also
use the envelope included in every copy of the December issue.) If you
let us know that you require a refund, we'll calculate your remaining
balance and send you a check.
Would you like to share what OITM has meant to you?
There were hundreds of people whose reflections we'd have loved to include
in our last issue, but we simply couldn't reach them all before the print
deadline (or fit them into the paper). But we'd love to hear from you
now at voices [at] mountainpridemedia [dot] org. We'll post your thoughts
and memories here on our site.

IThe last issue may be on the streets and online, but the board and staff
of Mountain Pride Media still have much to do and many decisions to make.
As we decide how to move forward, we'll post updates here.
Thanks to all of you who have stepped up with offers of financial support
and volunteer help. It's people just like you who kept us going for the
better part of 21 years.
