Ad Sales Representative Job Description

The Mountain Pride Media (MPM) Ad Sales Representative will:

¬ Generate and/or follow up on advertising leads

¬ Service Advertising Accounts, including:

¬ Send media kits and follow up

¬ Complete contracts and other paperwork and provide copies to Ad Sales Manager

¬ Communicate with clients regarding ad copy, deadlines, special issues & promotions

¬ Monitor billing and collection status of accounts

¬ Meet all deadlines for newspaper and Web site production

¬ Communicate with design personnel on client requests for ad design and changes

¬ Obtain client signature on proofs for all new ads and copy changes

¬ Communicate regularly with Ad Sales Manager regarding questions, problems, and progress

¬ Maintain and submit a weekly account of time spent doing this job to the Ad Sales Manager

¬ Any other items deemed by Mountain Pride Media to fall under the authority of this position

The Ad Sales Representative will also:

á Report to the Advertising Sales Manager

á Receive commission as per the Mountain Pride Media Advertising Compensation Plan

á Uphold the Mission Statement of Mountain Pride Media and Out In The Mountains

Job Requirements:

The Ad Sales Representative will need substantial access to a computer with internet service and an

e-mail account, as well as telephone access.
